The willows

The Willows is a family run three-Star hotel located in the heart of Thimphu city overlooking Changlingmithang, an ancient battleground, today the national stadium where traditional archery, football and volleyball matches are held almost every day.

Changlingmithang means the flatlands of willow trees, thus the name “The Willows’. The five storied property is on the left of Changlam road, one of capital’s main streets, and close to the city’s popular places and monuments such as the Tashichodzong, Buddha point, Kaja-Throm, memorial Choeten (Stupa), and Centennial Park.
